Spaces of dialogue and collective construction of knowledge
The Discussion of the Doctorate in Education and Social Studies are the scenarios of academic conference where teachers, researchers, students, and expert guests engage in dialogue on current problems of education and the social sciences.
These spaces promote critical reflection, exchange of experience, research and the discussion of ideas around topics that impact the social, cultural, and educational. Through the workshops, the program strengthens the doctoral training, promotes the active participation of the academic community and contributes to the generation of proposals transformative for society.
4th roundtable Discussion of Education and Social Studies
The roundtable Discussion on Education and Social Studies is an annual event organized by the Phd in Education and Social Studies. Aims at the dissemination of advanced research, or terminated by part of the academic and scientific community international, national and institutional graduate programs.

1st panel Discussion of Social Studies and Education
In honor of the suffragist and colombia's political, advocate for the rights of women Josefina Valencia Muñoz of Hubach. The first minister of Education and Governor of a Department in Colombia. 19 September 1956 he was appointed by the general Gustavo Rojas Pinilla. This was a step relevant to female empowerment, as she was the first woman who held a high office in the colombian Government.
