Workshop | Teachers emotionally intelligent

In this space we will reflect on how the emotional intelligence influences on teacher effectiveness, classroom management, and student motivation. From measurement models validated and recent findings, we present key theoretical and practice to strengthen the skills socio-emotional in educational contexts.

We invite you to participate in this academic space that brings together researchers, teachers and international experts to reflect on the challenges of social, educational, and cultural. It's an ideal space to share knowledge, strengthen academic networks and discuss current challenges of education and society!

Academic mission - integral Defense of territory and mother earth

The Guard Cañamomo and Lomaprieta, along with a Doctorate in Education and Social Studies of the TdeA, invites the academic mission 2025 in Riosucio, Caldas. It is one of the guards oldest of Colombia (1540), with 32 communities, 4.826 hectares and located on the slope of the Cauca river, between Riosucio and Supía.

Academic mission - Ancestral Territory Indigenous San Lorenzo, Riosucio, Caldas

The academic mission in the Ancestral Territory Indigenous San Lorenzo (Riosucio, Caldas) from 11 to 13 July 2025 looking for a situated learning with an emphasis in defense of the territory, environmental justice, memory and peace. The community of Embera Chamí, with 14 thousand inhabitants, it retains a spiritual bond and a cultural nature, to resist colonization and the monoculture of coffee. Through ceremonies, rituals and community practices strengthen their identity, ties collective and pedagogy territorial.

4th roundtable Discussion of Education and Social Studies

The roundtable Discussion on Education and Social Studies is an annual event organized by the Phd in Education and Social Studies. Aims at the dissemination of advanced research, or terminated by part of the academic and scientific community, international, national and institutional graduate programs.   

3rd International Congress of Social Studies

Academic Mission - Expedition Waira

The indigenous community of the Receipt of the Evils (Grass) invites the Academic Mission 2024 Doctorate in Education and Social Studies of the University of Antioquia. Highlight the importance of their ancestral knowledge, the respect for Mother Earth, and education as a means to listen, to feel and to live in harmony. Its territory retains specific practices such as Swidden, Tulpa and Mingas, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and the defense of their cultural identity.

3rd roundtable Discussion of Social Studies and Education

Saturday, may 20, 2023 will be held the third version of the Talk of Social Studies and Education, an event organized by a Doctorate in Education and Social Studies (TdeA-UI), the Master of Education (TdeA-UI), the office of the Ombudsman of Colombia and the Faculty of Law and Forensic Sciences (TdeA-UI).

general Gustavo Rojas Pinilla. This was a step relevant to female empowerment, as she was the first woman who held
a high-level position in the colombian Government
